Publicizing European Watch Company
In February 2022, the Boston-based Swiss watch retailer European Watch Company enlisted The Media Whisperer to expand their media footprint.
Within a month, we secured a profile of EWC on page 1 of the Sunday Boston Globe, followed up by mentions in Bloomberg and Women’s Wear Daily, and an interview on Bloomberg Radio.
Scroll down to see how we did it.
We interviewed EWC’s founder Albert Ganjei and his son Joshua about the origins of their shop, their passion for luxury Swiss watches, and the luxury watch market.
They told us they had recently sold 6 watches for over a million dollars each, including one for $3.4 million.
We were astonished, and we thought the media would be too.
Boston Globe tech reporter Hiawatha Bray was intruiged by our pitch. He visited EWC’s Newbury Street shop to interview the Ganjeis and other staffers. A few days later, another Globe staffer stopped by to take photos. A profile of the shop appeared on page 1 of the Sunday edition soon after, which you can read here.
We also arranged interviews for the Ganjeis with HYPEBEAST, Reuters, and a number of other prominent fashion and news publications.
Bloomberg, Bloomberg Radio, Women’s Wear Daily, and Fashion Network, among other outlets, interviewed the Ganjeis and mentioned European Watch Company in articles.
